Valeur faciale : 4 x 350 cf

Feuillet 1 : le premier timbre concerne Marilyn Monroe, les autres personnages sont Cary Grant, Bergman, Marlon Brando.
Feuillet 2 : le premier timbre concerne Humphrey Bogart, les autres personnages sont Marlene Dietrich, Clark Gable, Charlie Chaplin "Charlot".
Feuillet 3 : le premier timbre concerne James Dean, les autres personnages sont Audrey Hepburn, Kirk Douglas, Grace Kelly.
Feuillet 4 : le premier timbre concerne Laurence Olivier, les autres personnages sont Katharine Hepburn, Vivien Leigh, Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy.
Feuillet 5 : le premier timbre concerne Jack Nicholson, les autres personnages sont Nathalie Wood, Sophia Loren, Clint Eastwood

A notre avis, il s’agit de faux grossiers, et ce pour quatre raisons :
-     Sur ces timbres est indiquée l'année 2004 et la mention « république islamique des Comores », or le pays s’appelle « Union des Comores » depuis décembre 2001, ce qui est indiqué depuis les séries émises en 2002.
-     Avant 2002, le pays s’appelait « République FEDERALE islamique des Comores », ce qui était inscrit sur tous les timbres, et non simplement « République islamique des Comores »;
-     La monnaie des Comores est le franc comorien, noté fc sur les timbres, mais jamais cf comme sur celui en question.
-     Ces timbres sont inconnus sur place, ils ne sont pas dans le système de numérotation international (WNS) de l’ADMP/UPU, les derniers étant de 2003 référencés KM001.03 à KM010.03.

In our opinion, it is clear that these sheetlets are illegal, for three evident reasons:
-     The printing date on the stamps indicate the year 2004, but the name of the country has changed in dec 2001: all the Comoros stamps are mentionned “Union des Comores” since 2002.
-     The former name of the country (written on the stamps) was "République Fédérale Islamique des Comores”, not only “République Islamique des Comores”.
-     The currency is the comorian franc, but the country is french speaking, so it should be written fc (franc comorien) instead of cf (Currency initials FC, Internationally named KMF).
-     These stamps are unknown locally, they are not listed in the ADMP/UPU World Numbering System the latest entries being from 2003 numbered KM001.03 to KM010.03.
